Gaining Experience and Leveling up:

Gaining experience makes you go up level's, which in turn makes your character more powerful, which is fairly important in any RP as far as i know.

1. Gaining experience: When you gain experience it is either through combat, or  just from travelling around and being alive for a long period of time. Character's only gain EXP if they are actively played, as in you cannot just leave a character idle for months at a time just to build EXP, while playing on a different character. When you gain EXP in combat, you have gained it by either killing your opponent, or defeating him I.E. making him 'Faint'. The amount of EXP you gain from your opponent is equal to how much EXP your opponent has in total, this is why it is a good idea to keep track of how much EXP you have in the first place. You obviously get a lot of EXP from defeating an opponent, but please, do not go around just killing other people's character's just to gain their EXP, it ruins RP. Another way to gain EXP, is just by having your chracter alive for a certain amount of time, you gain 20 exp for each week your chracter is alive and active, which will build up after a while, which makes it so your character is never getting weaker, and the elder's always stay strong and experienced.

2. Leveling up: Chracter's level up on how much EXP they have recieved, you can only reach up to level 50, you level up as this:

.Level 2, requires 200  EXP.
Level 3, needs 300 more EXP ontop of that.
Level 4 needs 400 more.
Level 5 needs 500 more, and so on until you either reach the max of level 50 or your character dies.  For each level your character increases, you get two Stat points. These stats points go toward, of course, your stats, each stat point increases your stats a certain amount, these go as follows:

HP:If you use 1 stat point to increase you HP, it will increase by 10 points. If you use 2, it will increase by 20, and so on.

MP: If you use 1 stat point to increase you MP, it will increase by 5, if you use 2, it will increase by 10, and so on.

Str: If you use 1 stat point to increase your streagth, it will increase by 1, if you use two stat points, it will increase by 2, and so on.

Agl: If you use 1 stat point to increase your Agility, it will increase by 1, if you use 2 stat points, it will increase by 2, and so on.

Defense: You cannot increase your basic defense past 1, unless you buy armour.

LP: If you use 1 stat point to increase LP, it will increase by 1, if you use 2 stat points, it will increase by 2 and so on.
