I took this digital photo on Thursday, September 23, 1999, around 12:00 p.m., in the basement of a house in New York.
I think the face, with the halo, in this photo, looks like it could be that of Jesus Christ. The photo is one of about a dozen photos of halos that I took on the same day. But, whatever it is that was photographed, and it could just have been a reflection of light off the camera lens, I think it is a very unusual photo, as are the other ones that I took that day.
I have been told, by someone, that there was an exorcism held on this property, many years ago, and that it was once a convent. I believe the house where the exorcism was held, which was built in the early part of the twentieth century, and where the nuns lived, was destroyed in 2000, to make way for new houses. This is not the same house where I took these photos of halos, though it was part of the property that the convent was on.
This image is a multilayered conversion of the above photo that was made by someone. No image alterations were made in multilayering the photo, though inverted, emboss, sharpened, balanced colours, threshold, contrast, and smartblur were used. I think the three-dimensional appearance of the face in this image is very startling.
