 | The first Route 66 Stop for us today was the Big
Blue Whale in Catoosa. I couldn’t wait to see it! We took tons of pictures, of
course.

| The town of Depew was probably the closest thing to a ghost town that
we’ve seen.
|
| In Stroud, we stopped at the Rock Caf�
and had buffalo burgers for lunch. We found an old gas station (1920’s) in ruins.

Not on Route 66.

| We got to our motel room early (in Oklahoma City) and spent some time at the pool. We
went out for dinner at the Iguana Caf�. It was a cute
restaurant and one of the walls was painted with large iguanas on it. We went to a
Border’s bookstore and looked around until nightfall. |

| We then set out to look for neon signs. We found a few good
signs too! Looking forward to seeing Oklahoma City tomorrow. |
