BROOKLYN STRUGGLES
As the underdogs of the Brooklyn Tribe finished their long walk to their campground, they weren't at all enthused about living in a small, dark, damp, and empty alleyway. To make matters worse, no one on the tribe could come to a consensus on what to do first. Derricke grabbed the map, refusing to let anyone else read off of it, and suggested finding water first. Naomi shot down that idea saying that it wouldn't be smart to do that just yet, since they have nothing to carry of hold water in. Seth then suggested getting some kind of shelter, that was also shut down by Naomi with the excuse that they are only living in the alleyway for six days. Evelyn got into the argument saying that they DON'T know how long they are going to stay in the alleyway or as a tribe. Fearing an argument breaking out, Donald suggested at least getting something to sleep on, since the asphalt would be rough to sleep on. After more confusion, the tribe finally pulls together to find things of comfort.
DANIELLE SOUTHAND -- Landscape Artist: "I swear this tribe is horrible. Though we all were given the same buffs and called the Brooklyn Tribe, we aren't a tribe yet. Not with as much panic that's going on."
The Brooklyn Tribe passed by a building in which three wooden benches sat out next to a dumpster. Thinking that they were thrown out. Donald told the group to take them to sleep on instead of traveling all the way to the junkyard to find things. Everyone agrees as two-by-two they team up and carry the benches to the camp. On the way, Evelyn almost passed out from exhaustion from the previous challenge and dropped the bench which caught Donald off guard. Donald told the other members to go ahead and get the benches to camp, while he stays with the worn out tribe mate. He stood there waiting for his tribemate to get enough strength to finish the chore. She eventually got up as the two carried the bench back to camp.
DONALD MARSHALL -- Commercial Jet Pilot: "This game is already taking it's toll on people. Evelyn did horrible at the challenge and she is just spent now too. I don't think she's going to make it 39 days."
EVELYN STOCKHOLME -- Store Clerk: "I don't know what happened when carrying that bench. I just got dizzy and almost fell over myself. I know Donald is dissappointed in me right now, but oh well. I just can't take as much punishment as he can."
