BRONX AT THEIR NEW HOME
A frantic and shocking first challenge, the members of the Bronx Tribe made a long trek through the crowded streets of New York to where they found a vacant concrete lot located in between buikding with the words "Bronx Triba" posted on the front gate. They celebrated as they reached their new home. But knowing that their campsite had nothing but cement, the tribe deliberated onto what to do about camp. Jacob found a map to the nearby junkyard and suggested going there first and find wood for shelter. The rest of Bronx aggreed and they were off to the junkyard to find items to find shelter.
JANUARY SIMMS -- Drama Instructor: "I think the five of us make a great team. With the exception of Robin, who is a member of the Yellow Tribe, we have all the strongest people. We don't have an elected leader yet, but Jacob is just a bright man and would make an excellent leader."
QUEENS DOES THE OPPOSITE
Over on the other side of the city, the Queens Tribe arrived to an open fenced in parking lot, which was to be their campsite. After most of the group ran around cheering and screaming after reaching their home, Robin called the group to order and herded them together for a meeting. Unlike, Bronx, Robin suggested her tribemembers to follow the map to the junkyard and retrieve couched, matresses, pillows, or anything that could be used for comfort. Leigh questioned her as to why not get shelter first only to be interrupted by Robin who said that sleeping on asphalt would be extremely painful and miserable (as if camping in the middle of New York wasn't miserable enough). The tribe finally agreed and they went to fetch comfot items.
ROY NICELY -- Auto Mechanic: "I don't know if I trust that Robin woman with the pig tails or not. She might end up being a pain in my *ss later on in this competition, so I'll keep my eye on her. But, she's a smart one, that she is. We don't have soft ground to sleep on like people in the past seasons. We have asphalt and it will put in a pain in the back so bad, you'll wake up as crooked as a bent twig." |
