Nick raised his hand and shouted "Go!" and the race was on. Jerroth and Micha showed true muscle when it comes to running as they took an early lead in the beginning. Jerroth was first at the trash cans and began to search one by digging through it's contents. Micha (in second position) arrived at the trash cans a few seconds later and knocked over a trash can, followed by Robin and the rest of the competitors, who mocked Micha's method of dumping the garbage on the ground. Micha was the first to find a canister, Robin soon followed, who was soon followed by the elderly, yet muscular Jacob. It became evident later on that Evelyn didn't want anything to do with garbage. With some encouragement by Nick, Evelyn soon began searching for the canister. Continuing his lead, Micha had found the key and tied it around his neck and was off towards the dumpster. Jacob was next to make chase, with Robin, Jerroth, and an athletic Danielle Phillips not to far behind them. Carol, who was in last place when arriving at the trash cans, picked up a lot of time with quickly finding a canister and finding the key. She took off to the dumpster leaving athletic and frustrated Roy, Adam, and Seth in the dust as the men struggled to find theie keys. At the dumpster, Micha had found a canister quickly and began his work on assembling the flag, while Jacob, Robin, Jerroth, Danielle P, and January all were inside the dumpster throwing trash everywhere in search for a canister. In a flash, Micha had his flag assembled and took off, extending his lead even further. Jerroth struggled to find that canister and began to grow frustrated, the same was said for January. Robin had her flag assembled and she sprinted her way to the end. At the finish line, Micha, the doctor, was the first the peg his flag into the blue table. Robin was next as she planted her flag into the yellow table. It was a close footrace for third as Jacob held off a hard charging Jerroth, ironically they both planted flags into the blue table. Realizing what the tables stand for, Robin was cheering for fifth place runner, Danielle Philips to place her flag in the yellow table, but Danielle replyed with "Sorry" and planted her flag in the blue table as well. January was next to finish also ignoring Robin's banterings and placed her flag in the final spot on the blue table. A hyper Adam was next to finish stabbing his flag into the yellow table. A breathless Leigh and a frustrated Roy were next as it was a close footrace between overweight Carol and Seth. Carol who had a lead over the leaner blonde man, gave one stretch and planted her flag into the table just as Seth reached out to the same. A little upset, Seth bent over to catch his breath as a tired Derricke finished the race, followed by Naomi, Donald, Danielle S., and a very aggitated and whiny Evelyn. Nick congratulated the top ten finishers and asked for Micha, Jacob, Jerroth, Danielle P., and January to step forward. He rewarded them with blue buffs and announced that the five of them would be members of the Bronx Tribe. Robin shook her head and said "I knew it" under her breath. Robin, Adam, Leigh, Roy, and Carol were given yellow buffs representing their place in the Queens Tribe. Now, what was to happen with the other six players? Nick shocked everyone by giving them Dark Grey Buffs as they will form a third Brooklyn Tribe. He then said that he will see them in two days at the first Tribal Council.
