THE GAME STARTS OFF WITH A TWIST!
The 16 Sims, who are riding in four seperate taxi cabs, make their way through the beautiful New York City. They believe they are heading towards the airport to fly out to a distant island in the Atlantic Ocean, however they are decieved. The taxi cabs make an unscheduled stop at Central Park and the Sims are prompted to step out. They reluctantly do so and trek to where they are shocked to see host Nick Underwood waiting for them. He welcomes all of them and then delievers shocking news...there isn't going to be an island in their future. Instead (to many's dismay), they will be living here in New York City for the 39 days. To make matters worse, they will have to be living in alleyways, gutters, parking lots with only the clothes they are wearing and whatever resources they can find, just as the many homeless people in New York City do everyday. Everyone just laughed nervously.
ADAM TOWNE -- Furnature Salesman: "Hey! Wheres the reciept for this show! This isn't what I came here for! *laughs*"
DANIELLE PHILIPS -- Secretary: "Oh my God! This is going to be one wild season. Heaven help us all."
CHALLENGE: "RIGHT OF PASSAGE"
If that wasn't bad enough, Nick dropped another bomb on them. The game started when they exited the taxis and it was time for the first challenge. It will be a "Right-of-Passage" challenge. It's a race in Central Park. On "go", the sims will sprint 200 meters to 16 trash cans. Inside each trash can is loads of refuse and a metal thermous. Once a sim has a thermous from a trash can, they will race to a table, unscrew the lid off of the thermous and empty it's contents of nuts, bolts, screws, one key, and a string. After finding the key and tying it around their neck, they must then run another 300 meters to where two big dumpsters full of trash wait for them. They must leap inside of the dumpsters in an attempt to find one of 30 locked canisters. Once a canister has been found, the Sim must leap out and race to another table, where they'll unlock the canister and empty out its contents of a stick, fishing line, and fabric. After they make a small flag with the materials, it's one final sprint 200 meters to the finish line, where they'll plant their flag into one of two different colored tables. (One was blue and the other was yellow).
The first 10 to finish will be automatically immune from Tribal Council for the first 6 days. The other 6 will have two consecutive Tribal Councils and two of the six will be voted out.
EVELYN STOCKHOLME -- Store Clerk: "While Nick was explaining the rules of the challenge, was that I didn't want to touch that garbage. Eck." |
