The Theme For This Years Carnival Is "Story Time".

Walking Groups:-

All groups received a minimum of Highly Commended to recognise their superb effort.

ROT Pre-School Playgroup � The Hungry Caterpillar.

Jacqueline Frater School of Dance � Fairies at the Bottom of the Garden.

Radcliffe Sword Cub � The Three Musketeers.

ROT Scouts � Just So Stories.

ROT Drama Group � Penguin Books.

The Bark Family � Aladdin - were particularly Commended.

First Prize � ROT Boys Brigade and Anchor Section entry � The Wooden Horse of Troy.

Second Prize � ROT District Brownies � Alice�s Adventures in Wonderland.

Third Prize � The Jones Family � Wizard of Oz.

Floats:-

First Prize � Methodist Church � Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat.

Second Prize � St Mary�s Bellringers � The Nine Tailors.

Third Prize � Royal British Legion � Little Red Riding Hood.

Three bands played music:-

Boys Brigade Marching Band.

Dayncourt School Samba Band.

The Brassery.

At the Fete, the stalls were judged by Christine Jeffries, Mayor of Rushcliffe, who awarded The Gardening Club the �Best Dressed Stall� for their �Flower Fairies� theme.

The Final of the Junior School Dance Competition was won by �The Year 6 Dance Troupe�. Giving a crowd pleasing performance. �Pom Pom City� and �The Sweet Escape� were Highly Commended and picking the winner must have been tricky.

The Raffle, run by the Royal British Legion, was won by J Flynn.
