Well, now that Darigan is vanquished Neopia has entered into an era of calm.  However, vile forces have managed to use mystic powers to imprison warriors and villains alike into simple playing cards. Who will be the one to free them from their paper prisons? Take up your deck, and prepare to join in the battle of the century... THE FALLEN LEAGUE!

Tuptup! Finally, the last step! Obviously, since this is a game, there are many rules. Neopets CCG is one of the more complex games on the market, but once you get the hang of it, it is quite easy and rather fun! Obviously, you must learn the rules. Please, before beginning, read the rules through thoroughly. We will be using the exact rulings and game play featured HERE. Don't worry, if you don't understand something, please ask me or ask your opponent... We're willing to help you along as best we can! (But please put your own part to it... Don't plunge in blind! It will make the game much more enjoyable for everyone if you know the rules!)


Sadly, Apprentice is not equipped exactly for Neopets CCG, but rather for Magic: The Gathering. Fortunately, with the proper background in place, there are only a few matters to attend to.


#1. Click the Wand icon up top to begin a New game. Make sure you load your proper deck, then set your life to 21 and your hand to four. Click "Connect via internet" and hit "Ok". A pop-up window appears. Now, go and find a foe over Neomail or a messenger. (Note: MSN Messenger is your council's preferred method of communication) Once you find someone, have them begin a game just like you did, and have THEM click "Waiting for a Call". Have your opponent give you their IP Address (at the bottom of the window it will show you "My Current IP- this is the number you need from them!) and type it into the box that says "Calling opponent at". Click "Ok", and you should be connected!



#2. Before beginning a game, make sure you included your 10 Basic Neopets in your main deck. Once the game has begun, press Control + S on your keyboard to shuffle your deck. On the top toolbar, click "action", then go down and select "Library", then click "Move to hand." Starting at the top of the list in your hand, pull out each Basic Neopet and move it onto the "Basic Neopet" designation on the field. Right click the card, and select "Flip card over". Repeat this until there are no more Basic Neopets left in your hand. Now, once more, click "Action", then select "Hand" and move your Hand to your Library. Press Control + S on your keyboard, and press the book with an upwards pointing arrow to draw four cards. You are now ready to begin.



#3. Once everything is all set up, ask your opponent to call heads or tails, then press Control + F on your keyboard. The winner of the toss goes first. Continue to play the game as normal. Should a dice roll be required, press Control + i, and set the number of sides to six.



#4. When you need to bank a card, move the card from your hand and onto the designated area on the field. Right click the card, and select "Phase Out". Then, click the icon up top that looks like a heart with a minus sign once for each bank point the card was worth. When a player's life become 0 or below from this manner, that player wins! To discard a card, right click it and select "Bury", or drag that card to the cross/tombstone icon above your hand.
