Your Introduction to the Guild Ranking System

This is where you can learn about the ranking system. We, the council, raise ranks depending on how active/helpful you are and will generally raise them every few weeks if we see you active. Recruiting is a sure fire way to get your rank up, so if we see your board in the chats you can be sure to get an increase. We ask that you please refrain from posting threads about ranks in the message board and asking/ neomailing about them. You cannot buy an increase, nor trade tips/ hints for them. Be patient and active, and you can be certain yours will rise. We ask that you do not apply for the last council position. That position is currently closed, and your application will be deleted and ignored. For your knowledge, here are the non-council rankings.

Level 1: Inductee
Level 2: Shadow Caster
Level 3: Dusk Templar
Level 4: Spectral Magus

Level 5: Doom Rider

We also will have a board of four elite battlers who will be known as the "Doom Riders". These are dedicated members who are strong and wise in the ways of the Battledome. You can direct your questions about weapons, abilities, training, and strategies their way. This is a highly honored position, and requires a dedicated person.

Doom Rider #1:  War

Doom Rider #2:  Pestilence

Doom Rider #3:  Famine

Doom Rider #4:  Death

Council decides when members raise in rank.  Rank is not held in the utmost importance in the guild but we to recognize our members as being valuable.  Doom Riders are chosen for how they chose to portray themselves from evaluation to evaluation by council and are chosen in this way.  Spectral Magus is a position held for ex-council members and members who have done extremely well in the rotating council position. Dusk Overlord is the rotating council position and is given out every month to a deserving member. The deserving member is voted in by main council.  Dusk Templar is a position held for those that have been with the guild for a long time or have been extremely helpful and "out there" in regards to guild service.

Inductee status is not very long...usually within one post, the member is moved to Shadow Caster.  It is basically a signal for council so that we know when someone has entered the guild and we can direct our attention to the matter.
