Neggsweeper

In the game of Neggsweeper, you must find all the empty spaces and click on them. This guide is intendended to make this game much easier. First off, I suggest playing this game in hard, its easier to start a game, it just takes longer than the others. If you intend to get the single game trophy, this is where it will happen.

Start by finding a large portion to clear. This can take several attempts but I tend not to click in the middle. My game looks like this.

Next, start CTRL + clicking the mines you know are there. Make sure you click them all, then start taking away the neggs that cant possibly be a mine negg.

I marked the ones on the corner, with the 1's on their corners. Then, for the one that has 1 2 3 downwards, the 2 only touches 2 spaces, so I marked them. Now, I take all the numbers that are near the marked mines, and check: "Can this space touch any other mines?" If the answer is no, then I click the neggs surrounding it. If the answer is no, leave it alone for now.

I uncovered the yellow area by clicking the safe Negg furthest away from a mine. You get extra points for uncovering large areas at once. The Blue area is the first conundrum I have. I don't know what's what yet so I must leave it alone. I will probably figure it out by figuring out another area.

The blue area was a slightly harder puzzle. The easiest way to solve a puzzle like this is to check what the possibilities are. If the two mines missing for 3 were two on the left, then the 4 would have to be a five. But that means that the second one is a mine for sure. So is the third one cause its the only possibility.

Continue in this manner in order to find all the mines and click on all the non-mine neggs.

Here are some common patterns to look for.

(neggs with X's means that it is  most definitely a mine)
