The Power Wagon
< ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
After everything was mounted and tested, I drove down to South Mission Beach in San Diego to test the Power Wagon out. The new geared motor worked like a champ. After riding the Wagon for about 10 minutes, I felt the motor expecting it to be hot. To my suprise, it felt like there was no heat build up at all. That meant the motor was running efficiently, and the weight of the Wagon was not an issue for the motor.
The Power Wagon was tested again in late January 2007. The South Mission Beach soft sand was no match for the strength of the wagon. The wagon glided over the deep sand making it very easy to carry all of my crap to the beach.

This beach outing included 40 Bud Lights and ice in the cooler, snacks, change of clothes, towel, radio, Sirius Satellite radio, smash ball, beach blanket, 2 beach chairs, and the patio umbrella.

This would have taken several trips from the car to our beach spot had I not built the Power Wagon.
