| --The Wrap Up-- The main inspiration for the construction of the Power Wagon was to make a cart that provided drinks, food, and shelter while at the National OMBAC Over the Line(OTL) tournament. The tournament is held at Fiesta Island in Mission Bay, San Diego. There is no runnig water, plumming or shade on the island making the Power Wagon even more valuable during the tournament. I have seen many tricked out wagons at OTL. Some have stereos, others have monster tires and suspension. The most memorable in my opinion is the home made wagon that has a couch and 2 umbrellas on it. Just over 8 to 10 feet long, the couch wagon has the downside of being heavy and huge! 4 to 6 people need to push/pull the thing to get it anywhere. That SUCKS! There always seems to be chicks on it though. The Power Wagon is the only self sufficient wagon that does not need any assistance to get going. It's the only wagon that can be riden without someone pushing it, and is the only wagon I've seen that has a detachable BBQ on it. It's just icing on the cake that it has Sirius, can charge cell phones & iPods, and has built in shade. |
