Rose Tremiere is the French word for hollyhocks, so we named our second house in Meschers after the many multi-coloured plants growing up by the house in summer.
Situated in a village street of Meschers, five minutes walk from Rose Mousse, a few minutes walk to the town centre and the supermarket. Under 10 minutes stroll to the beautiful sandy beach of Plage des Nonnes, or less to the little known Plage de la Coniche.

Rose Tremiere is a small, single storey building (a stables converted many years ago), which we renovated and started renting in 2005. We used bright, summery colours to give a 'seaside' feel to the house. Rose Tremiere has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. In the openplan living area there is a sofabed, woodburning stove, video/dvd only tv, selection of children's videos, books and games. Please bring your own dvds. There is an equiped kitchen/dining area, bathroom with a 'jet massage' shower, wc and basin. There is also a separate second wc and washing machine. A cot and highchair are available on request. Included in the price are duvets, pillows, pillowcases, electricity, water, gas bottle and logs for the stove in the winter. Bedlinen and towels are available to hire. The house also has electric heaters and wood burning stove so can be rented all year round. |

There is a paved terrace at the front and a small garden with tables, chairs and bbq.
The house is adjacent to another house (the original farmhouse) which has a 2 bedroomed flat upstairs. The occupants of the flat have a walking 'right of passage' across the wide terrace, at the front of the house. The previous owners said they never found the arrangement a problem, as it is only a walking right of passage for one flat. Of course, this is the same arrangement as many gite complexes. The garden, for your sole use, leads from the terrace with a seating area, bbq and tree. The entire area has a wall and gate to secure the terrace from the road. We feel it is better that you know this information before booking with us. Of course, do not hesitate to contact us if you require any more information.
Rose Tremiere will be ideal for a family or two couples holidaying together and available all year round.
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate your pets and the house is no smoking.. |
