The house was built in 1936, in a 'villa' style with high ceilings and light, airy rooms. The previous owner's bought the house in 1942 and kept it for 60 years. We stripped the floors, redecorated and put back many of the original features that were lost during a 1960's modernisation. We have decorated and furnished Rose Mousse sympathetically, with a reflection of her Art Deco roots, but with a family in mind.

Sunny living room and diring room, with extending table, if you want to be indoors! There is another large table in the enclosed veranda with a view of the garden. On the patio there is garden furniture and a BBQ where you can eat 'al fresco'. Or remember the house is for rent all year. Ideal for a special Christmas or winter break, with the open fireplace. |

Accommodation comprises two lovely double rooms, both with balconies, one with it's own deco sink. The middle bedroom is a family room with a double bed and a set of bunkbeds, off this room are two single rooms. Downstairs in the TV/playroom there is a double sofa bed, sleeping 10 plus a cot. Please note that you need to enter the family room to access the two single bedrooms. We have tried to give maximum flexibility to accommodate most parties. There is a cot and highchair available free on request.
The house has two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs with a wc. There is a further downstairs toilet.
The TV/playroom has two settees (one a double sofabed if required), a video/dvd only tv with a selection of English videos - large selection for young children, books, games and toys, please bring your own dvds..
The kitchen is fitted with a large pine dresser and unit with a butler sink. There is a dishwasher, gas cooker (gas bottle included), microwave, fridgefreezer, iron, ironing board and a washing machine in the basement.
The kitchen leads to a sunny breakfast room with a large table that profits from the morning sun. There is a door that leads out into the garden, which is furnished with garden tables and chairs on the patio, with BBQ, for al fresco eating morning, noon and night!
Rose Mousse is situated in a garden of 1000m2 with mature fruit trees, so there is shade in the summer and fruit for the taking. The garden is walled and fenced, with a lockable gate at the bottom next to the garage. One garage is available for your usage, and there is parking at both the back and the front of the house. The front garden is separate by a fence and it is walled and fenced with a lockable gate to the road. The children can play safely in the garden whilst you enjoy relaxing with a glass of the local pineau or wine!
