Better put on your walking shoes because this area, and Ensenada further south, offer the power shoppers more stores than you can wave a credit card at. Select a fine wine, your favorite liquor, or custom-made furniture. Many visitors also stock up on beauty supplies and pharmaceuticals.In between stops for Mexican folk art, paintings, ceramics, silver, wool, and other unusual gifts, taste the tangy refreshment or grab a bite to eat at any of the thousands of eating establishments. Movie-making is the new kid on the block in Rosarito, with Fox Studios facilites where such blockbusters as Titanic, Masters and Commanders, Tomorrow Never Dies, Mask of Zorro, and Deep Blue were filmed. Foxploration, the movie theme-park, is located 1/2 mile away! Whatever you are looking for, you will find it here -- only a short 30 minute drive south of San Diego, California.
