Horizontal Magazine Issue #39
|
The newest issue of our party propaganda organ, Horizontal, features interviews with H.G. Wells, Buster Crabbe and Lon Chaney Jr., as well as with rising young bit-part actors Peter Cushing and Alec Guinness. In addition, Issue #39 has articles on food rationing, the Sputnik launch, and the grand opening of the Hammer studio, Philip G. Chadwick reviews The Quatermass Experiment, and there's some all-new fiction by J.R.R. Tolkien and Michael Moorcock as well as an exciting Frank Bellamy comic. Price is only 1s. 6d. (Commonwealth members: don't forget to add sixpence postage and handling!), or 50 cents for our American members. Issue #38 is still available at the low price of two florins, and Issue 37 can be obtained for one groat. And we still have in stock 4000 copies of Issue 36 which we will barter for two goats, a pig and a sheep.
DISCLAIMER: Again, this is a parody, The Federation bears no intentional resemblance to persons or organisations
living, dead or otherwise. All images are public domain; Dan Dare is copyright Eagle Comics 1995; Quatermass is copyright Nigel Kneale 1978; H.G. Wells is copyright Mrs Wells 1870. And we actually quite liked Horizon Magazine, so there.
