About Ron

I currently live in eastern Idaho; I moved here after my brief stint in the military. I was raised on a vast cattle ranch amid the rugged ranges of Montana. The ranch was owned by my grandfather, who also had a lot of land at one point down in South Africa. I've always been a western sort of guy, and I expect to spend a good deal of my life out here. My friends call me "Ronny", but I was born "Ronald", and I've gone by "Ron" for much of my adult life.

Writing is my calling, and in addition to owning a small bookstore, I've published little things here and there. It's hard to make a living writing sci-fi, though,--being paid basically per-word--but founding your own religion: now that would result in some money!

I am also a part-time minister in a small church. Our congregation is growing, albeit slowly.
