- TIMELINE
- Here is the timeline itself, which I will be continually (hopefully) adding to. There is a small frame at the bottom that will provide modern place names for the Roman/Latin ones given in the chronology. If you don't like frames, go here.
- CONSTITUTION
- This is the "constitution" of Rome as it would have been in this timeline. Obviously it evolved over a long period, and is shown here in its most mature form (for all intents and purposes, this is its status at the terminus of the timeline). Whether or not Rome would have ever adopted a fully written constitution is an issue of some doubt, as there are no examples of them ever having done or intending to do so. For arguments sake, we will say that the constitution does not exist as an actual document in my alternate Rome; and that this is simply an organized representation of the government created by various laws and customs.
- EMPERORS, CONSULS, AND USURPERS
- An abbreviated list of Emperors of the various empires, and Consuls of the Republics. With usurpers of great import thrown in for good measure. Enjoy. :)
- LEGES
- Here are some miscellaneous important legal decrees and orders from -at various points- emperors, consuls, senators, etc. They are laws which in some way affected the outcome of events or important changes in society. And are not to be considered the only laws passed. For right now, only laws passed during the reformation of the empire back into a republic are here (the laws made by Publius Martius Verus by wish of Marcus Aurelius Antoninus).
- TABULA PROVINCIAE
- This link will bring you to a list of all the provinces in the empire at its current (within the timeline) status. Also in here is a link to another pop-up map that coincides with the Tabula, to show you all the different governing zones. Be warned, this map is very large (due to the detail) and may take a while to load (hence I made it a pop-up).
