Network
Security Forum was Originally founded a few years back by a group of
Mathematics and Computer Science Students . However over the years , as its
strength waxed and waned , and as people began to take much more interest in
Network security , it encompassed and engulfed people from other disciplines
as well . The Current team (NSF 2k6) has not only A7ites but A1,A3,A4 and A6
as well. However , in spite of this Diversity in disciplines , the one
thing that binds all of its members together is their "common
Interest" !!!. .... Interest in Network Security !!!
Why
NSF???
Why Not ??? :)
We all know that Securing our
machine is the first rule of cyber privacy and protection. However understanding and
securing our network is just as important, especially in today's
scenario where we don’t really
need physical access to a machine to be in complete control.
We @ NSF believe
that in a world where even a single click of a mouse can bring an entire
network down , network security is no longer a luxury enjoyed by network administrators but it has become a Necessity.
