willie & gertie's

moving day

Tune 1 Tune2 Tune 3 Tune 4 Tune5

It all started with Gertie's birthday wish!

Blow out the candles.

And she got her wish ... all right!

Here are some amusing snapshots of a day we'll

never forget!

It was 99 degrees that day and we moved two

loads in the big truck.

We loved the hydraulic lift gate which took our lawn

tractor with ease.

First off a look at our fine vehicle

No we didn't bang the corner.

Next we pan over to the garage and house.

The front of the house.

Our best hired hand.

This fellow needed watching.

Up she goes for more!

Back of garage.

Closer to show patio under weeds.

The back of the house has a nice porch.

A fine view out back!

We drove the second load up the driveway

when a hurrendous storm swept in and battered

us with 60 mph winds and torrential rain.

The power went out and we then had no lights

or water for our first night. We bought several

bags of ice to keep freezer and fridge contents

cold. Drove back to old address to shower and

feasted on Guido's pizza in Chesterland.

Thanks for staying awake!
