The Remains of Our Day
After meeting with our fellow ST.net members and discussing our respective rides down to San Simeon, we took showers and got cleaned up for a nice dinner in town. Well, it was across the way from our hotel. After dinner with lots of pleasant conversations, we decided to take it to the bar and continue the socializing. We made fun of other members of ST.net like Warchild & Ruffcut and generally people who were too far to do anything about our jokes! Then we said our good nights around 11PM.
While a few of us were arranging our bikes� night lagger, a couple from England approached us and we had a pleasant conversation with them about bikes. They too were riders in their country and were visiting California on their holiday. We asked them if they knew someone by the name of Snowdog99 who rode around England in a Triumph Sprint ST. They said no. How about Smeghead? Not him either. Hmmm�..we began to wonder the true existence of these so called riders in ST.net. Either that or the alcohol was just lulling us to a stupor. It was then that we realized it was time to go to sleep for tomorrow�s big ride. |
