Community service is very important to our chapter.   Each year we do at least one service project (fundraiser) that benefits children and our community.  Our Administrative Vice President organizes all service projects using input from our members.  Service projects are a great way for us to get to know one another while working together toward a common goal.

The service projects that we have done this year and in the past are Toys For Tots Drive, Adopt-a-park, Adopt-a-soldier, police/fire station open house, food drive for C.R.O.S.S., Holiday Hooplah at the Rogers Library, Courage Center, baby shower for Abba pregnancy center in Elk River, adopt a family, fundraiser for Rogers Elementary, preschool open house, and many more.   There are many more activities that we are excited to participate in for our future service projects.

Mark Your Calendar!!!!!!                                     Our chapter will be sponsoring its second annual preschool open house on Thursday January 14th, 2010 from 5:30-8pm at the Rogers Community Center.   This event is open to the public and is a wonderful opportunity for parents in Rogers and surrounding communities to check out many local preschools and early childhood services in one convenient location.  Our 2009 preschool fair had 17 preschools and 13 other early childhood service providers in attendance and it was a great success!
