| Jigsaw Constant: Loving Cyclops #2 - 1/2 size, 16 pages, $1 Marissa's identity issue. Lots os still unanswered questions about who we are, what makes us that way, and whether or not we can change it. "Sometimes, you get so caught up in being the joy for everyone else that you don't notice your back is bleeding from the whips they throw back at you when you try too hard. And soon you're passing out from the loss of blood and all they say is finally, she'll shut up now. And as your eyes close slowly, sealing out the blinding light with heavy thick black like water, you catch a glimpse of your vibrant patterns repeating and you wonder why you don't learn. But they''ve made you tired so tired that the wonder is vague and distant so you sleep. And when you wake up and feel better you don't remember the black or the color, just the fireworks in your belly, and you wonder why everyone else is sad." |

| Busted Vision: Loving Cyclops #3 - 1/2 size, 24 pages, $1 This is Marissa's last issue of Loving Cyclops before she changes the title (This Water Spark will be the new one). It is full of broken heart stories, even before her break-up with her boyfriend. A lot of angst, a lot of emo, and a lot of hope. "There was this one night, as always, a summer one in my mind, with white blinking eyes glowing out at different rates in the softly airbrushed twilight. We prayed for evening, so we would have to find each other's faces with touches, tentative fingertips and insisting lips, making contact. And there was a blanket underneath us and thousands of sparkling pinpoints above us and black shifting shapes in front of me where your face should have been." |
