A: The Rockhoppers are Susie, John, Rob and Willie--four musicians with a common goal...to crank out cool rock 'n' roll and have a good time doing it. Q. What the hell is a rockhopper, anyway? A. It's a kind of penguin that looks like he's in an eighties hair band. See Lloyd, our mascot, for an example. Susie sort of has a thing for penguins. Q. What kinda stuff do you play? A. Rock from the sixties, seventies, eighties and even the nineties. We're making an effort to play stuff that's a little different from what you might hear elsewhere. Look for your favorite songs on our playlist. Q. So where are you playing? A. We post our dates on the website for all our fans to check out. We love to see ya, so look often and come see us. Q. | THE ROCKHOPPERS The Rockhoppers will be playing on Thursday, July 31, 2008 from 7:00-7:45 p.m. at the Ziibiwing Center's NativeFest "Music and Comedy Night." The Ziibiwing Center is located on Broadway, just west of Leaton Road in Mt. Pleasant. We hope you can come and join this family-friendly evening of music and comedy. The event runs from 6:00-9:00 p.m. As the Rockhopper are fond of saying, come and enjoy: "The thrill of live entertainment." |
