Major Stone speaks "Alright, this is what I want done; CPT Cappanetti, I want you to take SGM Brantley with
you and see what you can find in the way of food, and gather up material for the still. I don't want to break out
the MREs unless we have to. We'll fire up the still as soon as we have enough material to get it going. SSG Cutter,
I want you to take a look at SSG Martinez's head, I don't want him getting an infection. When SGM Brantley gets
back, I'll have him take a look at your arm and chest. SGM Martinez, you and I take first watch. CPT Wolfe, you
catch some shut eye, it may be a long night. Any questions? Good. Make it happen."
SGM Martinez and MAJ (Major) Stone man the humvees, the Mk 19 and M60, respectively.
SSG Cutter takes a look at SSG Martinez's head, cleans it up and then tells SSG Martinez to get some rest. SSG
Martinez tells SSG Cutter to wake him as soon as SGM Brantley gets back. That way SSG Cutter can get some rest.
CPT Cappanetti and SGM Brantley return with about 30 kg of food (enough for 1 person for 10 days (3 kg per person
per day). They also return with enough material to start the still. You had flushed several game birds, but they
disappeared before you could react.
SGM Brantley examines SSG Cutter, cleans his wounds and has him catch some sleep. He says "I'll watch over
him until it's my turn for watch."
CPT Wolfe and SSG Martinez replace the SGM and the Major on duty, respectively.
The Major wanders about checking on everyone and asking them the following: "What do you think is the best
way to make our escape?" After he asks everyone, he, CPT Cappanetti, and SGM Martinez all catch a few hours
of sleep.
