First things first... let me introduce us. I'm Robby and I'm 23 yrs old. My riding buddy, which is also my wife, is Amy. We live in Statesville, in the great state of North Carolina.. one of the few states that you can be on the beach and in the mountains on the same weekend with little effort. We have been riding motorcycles for just about two years now and have never regetted one minute of it. We started by taking the Motorcycle Saftey Course at the local community college. After the first day we were hooked, and I got my first bike that Sunday. It was a 1986 Yamaha Virago 700, but I recently upgraded to a more reliable 2006 Yamaha V-Star 650 Custom. We got my wifes bike the Monday after the course, and it is a 2004 Honda Rebel 250. Both bikes have had some upgrades and repairs but have been riden constantly for the most part. We only live about an hour from the Blue Ridge Parkway so we spend much of our time in the mountains and have recently taken up camping on two wheels.
