3/27-4/5/04  Interior parts, running lights and headlight bezels are restored.

RHM JR shows us that restoring parts is often painstaking work, but ultimately rewarding. Old parts are brought back to life in his garage and are preped for reinstall at a later date.

4/8/04 - 4/9/04 Tail Panel Transformation!

We received 2 tail panels as candidates for our car. RHM Jr. picked one and brought it back to life. Click image to the right  to see the tansformation.
4/12/04 The Console is Reassembled and looks excellent.

The parts restoration of the console took RHM Jr. 2 weeks to complete and a day or so to re assemble. Here is the beautifuly finished product.

4/8/04 - Exterior sand blasing begins as well a chemical peeling.

We've discovered that the yellow paint on the car was actually HOUSE PAINT! Sad. Because of this, the paint removal process will be slow. Applications of paint thinner and remover have to be applied to get it off. Good news is that the tactic is working as you can see.
4/14/04 Grill Restoration & Transformation Begins.

Total time in the whole restoration process for this piece was about 1 month. Click the image to the right to see the transformation.

4/20/04 - 4/24/04  Switch Console Restored & Other Dash Pieces Make A Recovery!

RHMJr. took the switch panel  down to bare metal and restored it from the ground up. There was also considerable time spent detailing the the switches themselves.

The radio bazel and passenger side dash panel also made an excellent recovery. Click image to the right to see the transformation.
