In summary RHM Jr.disassembled, cleaned and repainted the bumper guards from our bumpers. We will not be putting back on our car, but will most likely E-Bay them to someone that needs them. Loose padding on our glove box lid was repaired, the lock and associated chrome were cleaned and shined including the mounting hardware and hinge. It was then repainted to look like new. The cigerette lighter assembly was repaired and cleaned and the padding painted. The newly arrived center console was disassembled and its restoration began.
3-27--04 - NOS Clock & Lantz Newberry
RHM III made the 1.5 hour trip to Shelton WA to meet up with newly acquainted MOPAR buddy Lantz Newberry. Lantz has been a great volunteer parts scout for us and it just so happened he had a NOS clock we needed. Lantz is restoring a 383 68 Coronet 500 Convertable! Lantz and RHM III met up with some of his buddies and as it was a beautiful day, took his Coronet out for a spin. Drop top style! A real thrill feeling that MOPAR power. Lantz and RHM III made arrangements to meet up for the Spring Round-up Mopar show in Carnation, WA on May 2nd 2004. It was a treat to meet Lantz's family, get the clock and ride in his 68 convertible.
