Kart Frame Page
I am making the frame out of primed 30x30mm square tube steel, with a wall thickness of 2mm.
This stuff is cheap as shit!! 8 metres for $22 :D, from Robot Trading Co.
I"m pretty much just making the flat base frame, and then adding all the bits onto that. No full cages or fancy stuff, just plain and simple.
The frame is 2065mm long, and 650mm wide at the front, and 900mm at the rear.

Top view of the setup, shows where all the parts and pieces will be placed.
The completed base frame, apart from the angled support of the other side, it still neesd to be welded in.
Looks pretty neat. All welding was done by me, hence the rougness, but it's hella strong, and will hold up nicely.
Front on view of the frame. Can see some of the weld a bit better, but they're all the same.
