Dave bought this car for it's parts. The body was rooted, full of rust and junk and what ever else wanted to live in there. It cost all of $500
The parts he pulled out was an A14 engine (sold for $100), a very rare 5-speed short ratio racing gearbox (worth bout $700 alone), koni reds shocks from the rear, the dash (to be put in the sedan) and a few other bits and pieces that might be worth a couple of bucks.
Those are 13" hotwire mags as well, which would look nice once polished up. Thats the sedan in the garage, and mums extremely stock VR berlina. Come on mum, not even a slight superchargin'? lol i wish!
This is the floor of the coupe, on the drivers side just in front of the pedals i think. It has been rusted up pretty good. The rest of the patch is pretty close to falling out as well.
It's the same case on on the passenger side, except i don't think the hole is as big.
This is why the body is so gayed. Even though this particular rust patch isn't that huge, the severity of it means it'd take quite a bit of work (and sheet metal) to fix it up, so it aint worth the trouble.
