The Dutch Mole 2
Episode 2

Gerda got eliminated, but she didn't mind. The group was devastated. After the execution, Cor said:"This is worse than climbing up that mountain!"

Day 3
Inverness
Angela wakes everyone up. Ward:"I knew it was to good to be true that we could sleep long!"
Angela needs 3 people who have life experience and a long breath. Cor, Yvonne, and Dan volunteer. They are taken away one by one. First it's Dan's turn. He has to learn how to play 'Father Jacob' on the bagpipes. After a few minutes he must teach it to Yvonne, who ,in her turn, has to teach it to Cor. By the end of the day, Cor has to play the song for the other contestants. If they guess the correct song, they win.
The others are divided in three pairs. Björn and Ward are dropped in the woods, Nico and Nazife on heat land and Doortje and Sigrid at the base, a small house. The first two pairs each have to bikes. The last pair finds a video message. They have to get the other two pairs to the base, but can't leave it to go get them. They have a GSM, a walkie-talkie and a map. But the map is really bad, because it doesn't have any names on it, just some colors indicating whether there's woods or heather or water. They get one hour to do this. Meanwhile, the other two groups don't know what to do. Ward calls Nico and Nazife to ask if they know. Then Doortje hears Nazife on the walkie-talkie and she explains her the challenge. Doortje is Nico and Nazife's guide, Sigrid guides the other two. Doortje tells Nazife to keep to the left so they will reach a lake. Nazife:"If we're talking to each other on the phone, I can't ride my bike, so we have to keep it short."
Björn talks to Sigrid through the walkie-talkie:"We're on the east side of the lake." Sigrid:"You're right next to the lake? Can you see the lake?" Björn:"Next time, can you keep that thing further away from your mouth, before you talk?! Our backs are turned to the lake and we're still at the lake!"
Sigrid looks angry and Doortje laughs. Sigrid:"Just go cycling!" Björn:"I don't understand a thing you're saying!"
Sigrid:"Björn is being obstinate..." to Björn:"Björn, just give that thing to Ward!"
Parts of the confession:
Sigrid:"I might have seemed aggressive, but that's because we had a bad contact through the walkie-talkie."
Björn:"The person that was giving us the instructions... I began doubting whether they were correct."
Sigrid:"So it didn't matter who you were talking to. Everything starts irritating you and that's why you can't do the challenge properly."
Back to the challenge:
Doortje:"You have to keep on cycling!"
Nico:"We're doing the best we can, but..."
Doortje:"You are on a road that splits in 3, right?"
Nico:"From the beginning we cycled away from the lake, and..."
Doortje:"You weren't supposed to be driving next to the lake!"
confession:
Nico:"At a certain point we we're totally wrong. I don't know why that was,whether it were Doortje and Sigrid or whether it was because of Nazife. I took aver the phone of Nazife and tried to make things clear, but it was very difficult."
challenge:
Nazife takes the phone out of Nico's hands:"Doortje, listen... the starting point was near a lake, but it was very small."
Doortje:"The lake's very small? You just said it was very big!"
Nazife:"Then you told us to go to the othe direction and that's what we did."
confession:
Nazife:"Doortje didn't know where we were in the beginning. It didn't get through well and we went the wrong way. We went in the opposite direction."
challenge:
Nazife:"If we keep talking through the phone, we can't ride the bikes, 'cause the road is very bumpy."
23 minutes left. Björn and Ward are at the wrong place too. Sigrid tells tem to search for an asphalt road. When they get there, they ask her where to go to next, but she doesn't answer. Ward won't listen anymore and chooses his own route. Sigrid:"I will start screaming in a second, just drive towards the sound." She starts yelling. Sigrid:"Can you hear me?" Ward:"Yeah, over tha walkie-talkie!"
Their time's up. Doortje and Sigrid have to call the others to notify them about it. Sigrid:"I can phone Nico." Doortje:"Ok, then I'll phone Björn..." Sigrid:"No, just leave Björn up to me!"
confession:
Sigrid:"Doortje and me are very suspicoius now. The two other groups confronted me with things I had said. I didn't answer. Let them think what they want."
Nico:"I did my best to get in a group with her, because I suspect her. I wanted to see how she would do the challenge. She took care of the communications, which is was very important in this challenge, the part where most could go wrong. And it didn't go well at all!"

Angela arrives with Dan, Yvonne and Cor. The others get outside and Cor has to play the song. The beginning of it, isn't very good. But after a few seconds, you can clearly hear it's 'Father Jacob', which isn't a very difficult song to recognize. They win 5.000 gilders and everyone's happy.

After a long, cold, rainy day, they try to warm themselves and dry their clothes. They also have to cook their own meal. They got fish and a dead rabbit, which still had to be skinned. Yvonne volunteers to do this, because she likes it.

Challenge 2
They have to keep track of time all night. Their watches are taken away and they get an hour-glass which has to be turned after 15 minutes and 15 seconds. If they give a sign the next morning between 8:29 am and 8:31 am, they win 7.500 gilders.
Confession:
Björn:"Cor has made a time scheme with the hours and Yvonne has arranged the groups. I'm gonna stay up all night. So do Dan and Cor. Yvonne too. But to keep a structure, it's better to always have 2 people."
Ward:"I don't really think this challenge will work. We might as well just go sleep."
Dan:"It's exactly calculated how many times the hour-glass has to be turned, but of course there are numerous ways to sabotage this challenge."
Doortje:"If it's just the two of us, the other one just has to keep talking to me, so I can stay awake. I'll do my best. I would find it horrible if it went wrong because of me."
Each time they turn the hour-glass, they put a mark on the time schedule, composed by Cor.

The night has passed. We see Angela outside. She tells us the 2 minutes to give the sign start... now! Back in the cabin you see averyone just talking to each other, or combing their hair and stuff. Björn has the horn to give the sign. One minute left... 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3... 2... 1. They're out of time and still didn't give a sign.
Angela goes to the cabbin to tell them they didn't succeed. We see Dan turning the hour-glass one last time. As soon as she enters we hear Doortje saying very indignantly:"What!?" Angela:"Those 2 minutes have passed quickly!"
Cor:"You see?! I told you so! We're screwed!"
Angela:"This is the last turn?"
Yvonne:"Yes."
Cor:"The Mole forgot to mark the time schedule one time! A short while ago, I asked what time it was and they said it was 5.00 am. I thought that was impossible, because it wasn't very dark anymore outside. But I didn't dare to put another mark, because..."
Angela:"You didn't know for sure..."
Confession:
Cor:"I really think this went wrong because of the Mole and I feel very responsible for that, because I took care of everything and I forgot one thing!"
Back in the cabin:
Cor:"And I didn't say that, if someone was going to put a mark, someone else has to watch if that person really does put a mark on the schedule."
Angela:"Oh no..."
Cor:"And I'm the oldest, so I'm supposed to be the wisest."
Angela:"That's the game..."
Cor:"No, I don't care, it doesn't matter, but now I really have something against the Mole. I didn't have that at first, but now I do. Now it's getting personal!"

Day 4
Loch Ness
They have to build a raft out of the material they get (barrels, timber, nails, ropes,...). In the middle of the lake there's a stump of a tree with money on it. They have to get that money. They get one and a half hour to do so.
Yvonne:"Who has built a raft before?"
Cor:"You have." Nico:"You, I guess."
Yvonne starts drawing a plan how to build it. Ward wants to help to and starts meddling in. Cor says it's better that Yvonne handles this on her own. Björn walks away in the woods.
Confession:
Björn:"This is not a challenge for me, because I'm not good at building and putting things together."
Back to the lake:
While Yvonne is drawing a plan, the others carry the material to the lake. Yvonne whispers to Sigrid to keep an eye on everyone, because she would hate it when material would disappear. Then we see Sigrid walking towards the lake with a barrel, but she stumbles and knocks over the barrel.
Dan is not the leader at the raft building, but this doesn't mean his attention weakens. He shows Cor where the stump (where the money is supposed to be on) is located. Then he wants Doortje to swim to the stump to see if the money is really there. The water is very cold. As she returns, Yvonne asks:"What was on it?"
Doortje:"Yeah, the money is over there."
Dan:"Did you see it? Did you really have it in your hands?"
Doortje:"There's a waterproof bag with..."
Dan:"But did you have it in your hands?"
Sigrid:"Of course! Never mind, the money's there!"
They lift the raft in the water. They all peddle towards the stump.
Confession:
Doortje:"I saw Nico not peddling very well. I might have seen wrong, but it seemed he was peddling in the opposite direction. I was really doing my best and just sat there peddling very slowly with his feet."
Back to the lake:
They arrive at the stump and get the money.
Nazife:"We have to go back now, right?"
Dan:"No no, here's the money."
Nazife:"How much time do we have left?"
Dan:"No, here's the money. We have it. We won."
Ward:"No, we have to go back!"
Sigrid to the cameramen on the boat:"Go back?"
Confession:
Nico:"With the raft challenge, Dan did something strange. When we had almost reached the money, he told us the challenge would be over as sson as we had the money. But that wasn't true, we had to peddle back with the money. He claimed it wasn't true, others claimed it was. And it turned out we really had to go back."
They get back on the land and win 5.000 gilders.

Suspicions
Sigrid:"I still think it's Nazife, but my suspicion towards her has weakened. Sometimes I feel something with Ward tto and even Nico could be possible. I so I tend to suspect the men."
Doortje:"I stick to Björn, because there aren't many other clues. And I told myself to keep to my first choice, instead starting to do wild guesses."
Björn:"Sigrid. The hour-glass challenge went well all the time. I stayed up all night, but got very tired and just as I left, Sigrid took over. And that's where the mistake must have happened."
Yvonne:"I still have one or two suspects. At number one I have Nazife and number two is Doortje."
Nazife:"The person who is the Mole is doing a great job. Or I'm not paying attention. Last time I said it was Dan and I'll stick to that."
Dan:"I still think it's Nazife. She's a bit awkward in certain things and I hope I will catch her making a mistake in her awkwardness."
Flashback episode 1 Nazife stops climbing the mountain to get something out of her bag, because she has palpitation. Dan:"Come one! You're hardly sweating!"
Ward:"Nico... I thought he could be it too. But I think he isn't because he's very nervous at certain times, but on the other hand I think he is the Mole, because it's so obvious."
Nico:"Yesterday evening, when I was with Dan during the hour-glass challenge, he suddenly pointed at a notebook Nazife had accidently left behind. I got the feeling he wanted to put suspicion on someone else."
Cor:"I voted for Dan today. The way he looks at me or the way Angela looks at him. I don't have real evidence, but I do think it's him."

Suspicious in this episode
Doortje and Sigrid couldn't lead the other two groups to the cabin.
Nazife took care of the communication and it didn't work out.
Someone didn't put a mark on the time schedule.
Björn thinks it was Sigrid.
Cor is exaggerating in blaming the Mole for the failure of the hour-glass challenge.
Sigrid drops a barrel. Does she want to break it?
Dan wants Doortje to swim to te middle of the lake to see if the money is really there.
Dan says the challenge is over when they have the money, but they have to peddle back too.

After the execution, Sigrid is not very happy. Dan:"He must have been totally wrong about the Mole."
Sigrid:"I can live with that, it's just very sad he had to go. He always brought laughter to the group."

Angela enters the room again:"Guys... you are all very tired. But I still need one person. An energetic manager who can handle domestic tasks."
Sigrid and Doortje laugh. Sigrid wants to volunteer by putting up her hand, Yvonne too, but Dan puts his hand in the air first and says he's the ideal person for the challenge. He is chosen.
