The Dutch Mole part 2
Episode 1
Ten people are going on a journey today. They almost don't know a thing. They don't know where they're going to. They don't know who they'll travel with. They actually don't even know how long they will be gone. But there's one thing they know for sure: one of them is THE MOLE. The Mole who will take care that they are sent home one by one. And this adventure takes place in Scotland.

Day 1
They fly to Scotland, where they drive to Nevis Range in a van.
In the van Björn yells:"Who's the Mole? Who's the Mole?"
Sigrid:"We'll share the money!"
They arrive at Nevis Range, where they have to hand in their personal stuuf,
like passports, driving licences, GSM's,... Angela, the host, has money. It's
their pocket money. She asks who will keep it. Nico volunteers.
Angela needs two people who don't have much perseverance, but we are good
thinkers. That's Nico and Ward. They have to go away.
Angela:"Behind you see the highest mountain of Great Britain, called
Nevis Range. And you are going to climb it... with your luggage. You can leave
luggage behind, but everything you leave, will be sent back home."
They have two hours toclimb the mountain. For each person, who reaches the
top, they win 1.500 gilders. But if everyone arrives on time, the money will be
doubled, so hey'll win 24.000 gilders.
They all start selecting their luggage, except for Björn, who
immediately leaves and starts climbing the mountain with all his 
luggage.
We hear a part of Yvonne's confession:"Björn is very eager about
finding the Mole and fixed at winning. Björn is very selfish. Physically he's
very strong, but he's not a group person. He immediately walked off. Then I
think 'Well, you can do that, and it's ok if you want to win, but you can't do
this alone.'"
Björn:"You hear that you only have 2 hours to reach the top
and you see that enormous mountain. You don't know how long it will take, so I
try to do my utmost."
Doortje dawdles long over which luggage to leave behind. She even
changes her pair of pants.
What they don't know is that they have to spend the night on
this cold rainy mountain. The camping stuff they need for that, must be
collected by Nico and Ward by solving riddles. For each riddle
they solve, they can take the lift down to fill a bag with items for camping.
But as soon as the first person is on the top, they have to stop. The next shot
is of Yvonne who is literally running up the hill. Björn is back
with the group again. Björn:"I met some kids and I asked which
was the shortest way to the top, and they told me to go back. That cost me 20
minutes."
First riddle: They have one bucket with 5 liter of water. One with 3
liter of water and one empty bucket, of which they don't know how much water it
can contain. They have to get exactly 1 liter of water in a bottle. Nico
and Ward can't figure it out. Nico asks Ward if it wouldn't
be better for them to pass. They pass. It was very simple: They put the 3 liter
in the empty bucket. Then they put 3 liter of the 5 liter bucket in the 3 liter
bucket. They have 2 liter left in the 5 liter bucket, which they can get rid of.
The 3 liter in the 3l bucket is added with the other 3 liter in the bucket, so
they have 6 liter. If they pour That water in the 5 liter bucket, they will have
1 liter left.
Meanwhile Nazife stops to get something out of her bag. Cor and Dan
are with her and they start telling her to hurry up. "Come on,
Nazife!" We hear parts of the confession. Dan:"Nazife
starting searching in her bag after a few hundred meters, because she had
palpitation of the heart or something (frowning his eyebrows)"
Nazife:"Yes, I had palpitation suddenly. It was all going a
little bit too fast."
Dan:"But I took her with the neck and I didn't feel a single
drop of sweat, so I thought 'Hmmm... strange'."
Gerda is pulled up the mountain with a stick. Yvonne pudhes
her. A few moments later there's a discussion between Yvonne, Dan
and Gerda. Yvonne:"We can still reach it within an
hour..." Dan:"But you do have to take a decision right
now, whether you're continueing or not! Because else you're just holding us up!
But I want that God damn bonus!" Gerda smiles a little. Dan:"No,
it is money, you know?!" We hear a part of Gerda's confession:"I
was startled one moment when someone said how much money was at stake and that
we had to go for it, because it was so much money. Then I felt something like
'Guys, it's just a game!'."
Second riddle: They have to defuse a bomb. There are three wires,
labeled with a blue, a red and a yellow label. 
If
they cut the red wire, the bomb will explode. But every label is at the wrong
place. Nico figures out that, if all labels are wrong, they can easily
cut the red wire. Ward cuts it and notices that the wire with the red
label, was actually the yellow wire. So the blue label, must be the red wire,
'cause else it would be labeled correctly. They cut the yellow wire and the bomb
is defused. They can go get the first camping stuff at the bottom of the hill,
so they have to go down by elevator. They can fill one bag each time they solve
a riddle. If they want to have everything, they'll have to solve three riddles.
But will they manage to do so? Because the others try to reach the top as soon
as possible, because they don't know anything about Nico and Ward's
challenge.
Meanwhile, Gerda and Nazife have given up. This makes the chance
to double the money very small. They have 67 minutes left. Björn is
carrying Sigrid's bag. Sigrid:"At a certain point, Björn
started carrying my bag, so I though if I quit now, I'm a wuss and I don't want
that." Yvonne:"I asked him to carry her bag. He was
doing nothing, and I saw the others had difficulties. So I thought if he won't
help now, he can just get lost!" 42 minutes left.
Third riddle: They have a pie. They need to cut it in 8 pieces, but can
only cut three times. Ward immediately knows the answer. He cuts the pie
in half from the side and then cuts it on top in four pieces, but that's 8
pieces, because he first cut it in half sideways. They can go down to get
another bag. While they're going down, they see Gerda and Nazife.
Meanwhile, Doortje, Yvonne, Björn, Cor, Sigrid
and Dan have reached the top. There's still 25 minutes left. Doortje
and Yvonne decide to go get Nazife and Gerda. The others
follow them. They litteraly have to drag the two women up the mountain and each
the top in time. So they win 24.000 gilders. Ward and Nico
are brought to the group. They tell the rest that they have brought food and
stuff. Then Angela, the host, shows them coupons. Those coupons represent the
money they win. Sometimes they will have to give coupons back. But who will keep
the money? Because you can trust no one. Dan immediatelt says he'll keep
it. Some of the group laugh, others look suspicious. They start putting up the
tents and Ward is cooking the food. Ward:"This doesn't
look very delicious. I think the elimination race will be who can survive on
this food!"
First confessions
Björn:"Dan has the price money and Nico has the pocket
money..."
Flashback of
Nico and Dan taking the money
Björn:"Is that a smart thing to do?
No, it isn't. Can you trust those people?"
We see Björn who asks Dan if he can count the money again.
Sigrid:"There's too much controle on those two. They entire group
will always keep an eye on them. I don't think it's something you can do as a
Mole... Or it is just something you can do! That's the difficult thing about
it."
Nico:"I don't know if I'm still glad with ahving the pocket
money, because they are constantly asking if the money's still there. Like the
Mole would take that away or something. Weird..."
Day 2
Primary School, Inverness.
They get a few minutes to learn information about each other. They can read that
information on boards. A strange thing we see, is that Nico is learning
his own information.
They need to pick 2 people, who have a good memory and who are good at maths.
Sigrid:"I'm not good at maths, but I do have a good memory."
Angela:"And who's good at maths."
Everybody says Nico is good at maths, but Nazife stand up
quickly and goes along with Sigrid. They have to get 5.000 gilders
out of an ATM. But they don't know the exact code for the card and they don't
know where the ATM is. They get an hour and a half for the
challenge(1:30:00).They see a map on a laptop, divided into 9 squares. They have
to fill out the other contestants' names and their year of birth. If it is
correct, one square disappears. When Sigrid types in Yvonne's
name, she says:"Yvonne is 32, so..." and she types in 1976 and
presses ENTER. Nazife:"1967!! You did 1976!"
Because of Sigrid's mistake, their's an extra square on the map left.
So the place where they have to find the bank is bigger.
1:21:40 left. They start a long sum to find out the code. The sum is made of
information of the contestants. For exemple: The number of dogs of Dan + Sigrid's
shoe size.
0:57:51 They want the help of Ward, which costs them 15 minutes. So they
have 0:42:51 left. Ward gives them more information. But they
don't know Nico's month of birth, nor his weight, so they go get him.
0:32:05 left. Nico gives his own information and they calculate the sum.
Then suddenly Nico sees a mistake is made and warns the others. Finally,
they have the code. There's only 16 minutes left, and Nazife and Sigrid
go find the bank. They have a GSM to call the others if the code was wrong after
all, but that'll cost 15 minutes, so they can't use it anymore. Nazife
and Sigrid ask everyone they see, where the bank is. Nazife
runs very fast, Sigrid is slower. They have 24 seconds left and find the
bank. But when they get inside, they see that someone is already using the ATM,
so they have to wait. The woman is gone soon, and they put the card in the ATM,
type in the code, and it's correct! They have the money. But when we see the
timer, it stands at -00:00:50. So they are 50 seconds late. They call to Angela.
Sigrid:"Hello? We made it!" Angela:"You just
took the money?" Sigrid:"Yes..." Angela:"Well,
you've crossed the time limit." Nazife:"No that's
impossible!"
Sigrid and Nazife aren't happy. Sigrid:"But we had
to wait for those other people! I don't like this!" They did have the
correct code, but were too late. Sigrid:"Oh come on! What, we
were supposed to throw away those people at the ATM or come storming in here?
This is very frustrating!" They have to give 5.000 gilders back so
the kitty stands at 19.000 gilders.
Confession
Sigrid:"From
one side, she really ran very fast, but on the other side, it's typical to say
you're good at maths, while everyon knew Nico was our maths wonder. She had to
let Nico go."
Nazife:"With the ATM challenge I really did my best. But the
others didn't see that. I was running the fastest outside, but only Sigrid could
see that."
Suspicions
Sigrid:"It
can still change, but at the moment I'm going for Björn. He's the only one who
is very relaxed now, but he had a lot of stress yesterday."
Björn:"I'm going for a 100 % for Yvonne. She's in the army,
so she can lead everything, but in a later stage she can use that to
sabotage."
Yvonne:"Doortje... She's physically very strong, but she
certainly won't give the helping hand."
Doortje:"I'm doubting very much at the moment and I don't
like that. Suddenly everyone's a suspect at a moment like this. I'm absolutely
not sure at all, it's just a wild guess."
Gerda:"Eventually the code was correct, but it went wrong at
the ATM."
Flashback Sigrid
and Nazife are dissapointed at the bank. Sigrid:"Oh
come on! What, we were supposed to throw away those people at the ATM or come
storming in here? This is very frustrating!"
Gerda:"100 % sure!"
Nico:"Nazife could be it, I guess. She makes a sly
impression. Like she's occupied with something else all the time."
Nazife:"Not Gerda, not Nico, I guess... I have my doubts with
the rest... Dan, I think it's him. He's the one I'll vote for."
Cor:"The way he looks at the others and how he studied the
boards. I thought 'or he already knows everything, or he's the Mole'. I'm going
for Dan."
Ward:"I think Dan. It's just my thought and we'll see what
happens. Either I'm out or I'm not."
Dan:"At a certain moment she quickly stood up to do the
assignment. She had just said earlier, that she's not good at calculating. She
felt very tired in the car... I don't think you have to go and calculate when
you're feeling tired. Nazife is the Mole."
Suspicious this episode
Björn heads
off immediately, but is back with the group after a while.
Nico and Ward can't figure out the first riddle.
After a few 100 metres, Nazife already said she had palpitation of the
heart.
Nazife and Gerda gave up, but they were dragged up the mountain by
the others.
Sigrid made a mistake typing Yvonne's year of birth.
Nazife wanted to be in the challenge, although everyone wanted to take Nico.
Someone made a mistake in the sum.
