The Dutch Mole
Episode 6
Foke had to leave. In the car she started to cry, because it was all over for her. She didn't want to cry until she was in the plane, but she couldn't help it. She voted for Wilmie and still thinks it's her, but that she just didn't have enough answers right.
Day 10
There's five of them left. Four contestants and
the Mole. Their next episode is to get from Maryborough to Byron Bay on their
own. And they have to take 2 surfboards with them. They get a video camera
because they have to film a few Australian people who have to tell something
about Holland. There are a lot of arguments between the contestants about how to
travel the 450 kilometers. Finally Wilmie and Robin are
going to hitchhike and they take the video camera with them. The others (Arnoud,
Deborah and Petra) are going to hitchhike too. In
an interview afterwards Wilmie said:"My hair was painted blonde the day
before and I thought that it could be nice people who would stop for a blonde
bimbo like me with a huge negro with a surfboard. And it was a nice woman."
The woman who gave them a ride said to Wilmie:"I really feel part of the
game now. But I still think you're the Mole." They made 2 plates with
the word Byron Bay on it. One plate mysteriously disappeared. Neither
of the 2 groups made it before sunset, so there was no money won.
Day 11
The next day Angela wants
someone who's thin and sporty. That's Petra. The others have to do the 'Tour of
Byron Bay'. They have to ride a bike until they reach the beach, where they have
to run along the coast until they see 2 kayaks. With those they have to kayak on
sea until they reach the other side of a mountain. Then they have to climb the
mountain to the top, where they arrive at a lighthouse. You can see the traject
on the left. There is a timelimit, but I don't know the exact time anymore. The
time of the one who arrived last is taken. The cycling and the running go very
well. But when they are kayaking the kayak with Deborah and Wilmie in it keels
over and they fall into the water. But Wilmie nearly drowns. Then they have to
run up the mountain. Robin and Deborah (the younger contestants) haven't got
much problems with it. Arnoud stops to wait and help Wilmie. She's very tired.
Deborah and Robin are already on top of the lighthouse and they encourage Wilmie
and Arnoud, who arrive just in time. When they're all on top of the lighthouse
Wilmie starts crying, because she is very exhausted and because she almost
drowned. Then Angela explains what Petra has been up to. She had to disguise
herself so the others wouldn't recognize her. She also had to find other people
who had to sit on a field with her. And that field is under the lighthouse. Now
the 4 have to guess who is Petra. If they get it wrong, Petra gets an exemption.
So she won't have to take part in the execution that evening. The 4 look and
discuss who they think is Petra. They choose one person out. That person has to
come to the lighthouse. But when she gets up there they see that it isn't Petra.
So Petra has the exemption. Then they go to the group of people. They still
can't find her. Then they ask her to stand up. Finally they see her. She was
disguised very well.

Wilmie was nowhere to be seen for a moment when they were hitchhiking
Deborah didn't hitchhike much.
