Belgian Mole (part 1)
Episode 6
Sylvie had to leave the group. Five contestants didn't survive the Mole. Which mistake did they make? Who did they trust? Who did they suspect? And what does this learn us about the identity of the Mole? Five people were left. Who is the Mole and who will be the next one to leave?
Day 11
The first challenge they have to do is for the highest amount of
money they can win in the game: 200.000 BEF. But Michiel says that this
challenge is rather annoying, unless you are lucky. Every contestant will get an
individual challenge. Three of the five challenges have to be done to win the
200.000 BEF. So the others have to figure out whether that contestant will do
the challenge or not. Every contestant has to pick an envelope, which has two
challenges in it. They have to throw a die to see what they have to do.
Guy
is first:
If he throws 1 to 3 he has to paint a nude model. If he throws 4 to 6 he has to
pose nude himself. He throws a 2 and decides to accept the challenge. Meanwhile
the others know what Guy's different challenges were, but they don't know
how much he has thrown. They have to estimate whether he will do the challenge
or not, to let 3 challenges succeed.
Belle
is next:
If she throws 1 to 3 she has to wear one arm in a cast until the next day. For 4
to 6 it's 2 arms in the cast till the next day. She throws a 4 and decides to do
it.
Magda:
1 to 3 and she has to dye her hair. 4 to 6 and she has to shave all her hair
off. She throws a 5. She doesn't want to be bald, so she declines the challenge.
Magda goes to the center of town where she meets Belle. She
explains her the situation and Belle says Magda did the right
thing. She wouldn't have done it either.
Hugo:
1-3: he has to be bodypainted. 4-6: he has to get a tattoo. He throws a 2 and
accepts the challenge. He is painted green.
Mon:
He gets all the previous challenges. But he doesn't know that it isn't necessary
anymore, because the challenge is already a success. But does he estimate that
correctly? Meanwhile Hugo meets Belle, Guy and Magda.
They laugh about their challenges. Suddenly Belle says that her fingers
are getting cold and that she almost fainted. Her challenge was to stay in the
cast till midnight. So actually they have won the 200.000 BEF. But suddenly Belle
wants the cast to be removed immediately. So unexpected it's all to Mon
to win the money. The others can only hope and wiat for him to come back. And
there he comes. Mon is bald, has two arms in a cast, is obviously not
bodypainted and he has a drawing with him. He was unlucky, because he always had
the worst challenge, except for the nude painting. He even has a little tattoo
on his shoulder. The challenge is a success thanks to Mon. That makes a
total of 950.000 BEF.
Day 12
The contestants had to sleep in an open-air
museum. Very early in the morning they are woken by a lot of children. That
night they didn't do a confession, so now they get the chance to interview each
other. Every contestant must choose another contestant to interview. Magda
and Hugo choose each other. Belle chooses Hugo. Mon
chooses Magda and Guy chooses Belle.
Guy:"Did you have different suspects?"
Belle:"Yes I had someone else every day."
Magda:"Really? You really suspect me to be the
Mole?"
Mon:"You could be. It's one of us five."
Magda:"But do you think I have it in me to be the Mole? I
couldn't do that emotionally."
Hugo:"Do you feel that someone is supecting
you?"
Magda:"I only feel it of you."
Belle:"Could I be the Mole?"
Hugo:"Yes, because you were always around when a challenge
failed."
Belle to Guy:"I think Hugo was lying to me."
For the first challenge that day, Michiel needs someone with a thousand faces, someone who is a good actor. And again it can be very important who they choose. It's Guy. The others have to leave with the car and they get a tape which will tell their challenge. Two of them will have to play lawn bowling, one has to do archery and another has to kart. In a telephone booth they find an envelope with four pictures of people in it. Two of them are champion of lawn bowling, one is the archery champion and the other is kart champion. The contestants have to figure out who is champion of which sport. Belle really wants to go karting. They draw lots and she's lucky. But after a while Hugo says it would be better if he went racing and she went lawn bowling. So the three drop Hugo off at the karting circuit. Belle is angry at him and they have a discussion about him. They have to win one discipline to win 100.000 BEF.
Meanwhile Guy has heard his challenge. He has to disguise himself so the others won't recognize him. At 5.00 pm he has to stand in the square and the others will be standing on top of a tower. If he manages to deceive them, he will win an exemption. If the others guess it right they win 50.000 BEF. He wants to go for the exemption.
So here's what the others have to do:
Hugo: karting (5 laps have to be done)
Magda: archery (5 tries, the winner is the one who has shot closest to
the bull's eye)
Mon & Belle: lawn bowling (the team that has 13 points first wins)
One of those disciplines has to be won, to get the 100.000 BEF. So they
have to estimate their opponents very well and even then they still have to win.
Magda's first shot is very bad. She isn't even between the lines of the
target. But so is her opponent. So they get a second try and have to come closer
to the target.
Meanwhile Belle and Mon are lawn bowling and the score so far is
3-3.
Magda loses the challenge. She thinks her opponent is the champion, but
he isn't. He's the lawn bowling champion.
Belle and Mon think that there is one lawn bowling champion in the
opposite team. They lose the game. So it's up to Hugo to let the
challenge succeed. We see him overtake his opponent just a few meters before the
finish. He wins. And it turns out he didn't really overtake his opponent at the
very last second, no, he already doubled the man. His opponent was lawn bowling
champion, and that man was so afraid of the racing that he drove very slowly. So
it turns out they all estimated their opponents right, but Hugo is the
only one to win a discipline.
It's 5.00 pm. Time to see what's going on at the square. There are a lot of people who look like Guy. The four got binoculars to find Guy. They find it very hard. Then Hugo remarks that if Guy would make a sign, they would win 50.000 BEF. Good point. Michiel asks the others if they would sign. Belle and Hugo say they would. Mon doesn't believe Hugo. Magda thinks she would go for the exemption.
Finally they think they have found him. The man they have chosen has to come up to the tower. It turns out it isn't Guy. But then where's Guy. Suddenly Belle sees him. He has disguised himself as the cameraman. And the real cameraman has disguised himself too. So Guy has the exemption.
Suspicions
Hugo:"I don't
think I will stay this time, because Guy has an exemption."
Belle:"I think it's Mon, but I don't like that idea. I don't
want him to be the Mole."
Magda:"Belle doesn't fake, she isn't afraid to lose her
face."

Belle suddenly wants the cast to be removed immediately.
Guy chooses for himself instead of for the group.
Magd, Mon and Belle lose their challenge.

Again someone has to leave. It won't be Guy, because he
has the exemption. But who will it be then? It's...

Belle had to leave. There was only one woman left, together with three men.
