Before anyone mentions it, I know it's not a diorama but somehow Braveheart just didn't belong in fantasy so here he is alond with Indiana Jones below. The mini above is from Reaper Miniatures and was kindly donated by Reaper Ron before it was even officially released. As soon as I saw it I thought that's Braveheart. Although they did give him a beard and PANTS! he's wearing a kilt what's he doing wearing pants for. Anyway a bit of time with a needle file and he was more like the movie. For the colours I downloaded what pictures I could find on the net. I pretty happy with the tartan although it's still not right. I cheated a bit and did the verticle strpes in black which is sort of cheating but the folds in the fabric would have made it hard to do another way. Any way "They can take our land, but they will never take our Freedom!"
This is an old GW Talisman 1st edition figure of an Archaologist. Which bore a striking resemblance to Indiana Jones. I modified the mini slightly by vemoving the flared thighs (he had riding pants) and extended the bottom of the pants over the boots. I also added the belt across his chest. I then watched Raiders of the Lost Ark a bunch of times to get the colours right.
This is a little peice of resin scenary I bought to go with an unofficial Lara Croft mini I picked up. I'm still planning out the diorama but thought hey I'll scan the gate before I glue it down.
