Nominees for the 2005 Canadian Country Music Awards were announced today and the Road Hammers are everywhere, with six nods, the Hammers are in nearly every category they are eligible for!

Two of the band members have nominations for the All-Star Band Award, Chris Byrne on bass, and Kenny Greer on steel guitar. The Road Hammers are also prominent in the Industry awards, with Ron Kitchener up for Manager Of The Year, Patrick Duffy for Album Graphics Of The Year, Margaret Malandruccolo as Video Director Of The Year for "I'm A Road Hammer", Jason McCoy & Scott Bagget for Record Producers Of The Year, and "The Road Hammers Documentary" for Country Music Program or Special Of The Year.
The boys will be performing on the awards show, so be sure to tune in and catch the show live from Calgary, Alberta on September 12th!

CMT is planning to air The Road Hammers Documentary Special beginning on April 23rd at 11pm... that's a SATURDAY! This is an awesome 6-part series behind the scenes with this new band and there is no way it should be pushed aside to air on the weekends, this should be a prime time weekday special! Jason and the Hammers' deserve to have the best spot available for this great feature.
Please help by emailing CMT and letting them know that this series is in demand for a weekday slot, not some late-night weekend filler.
