Some people join book clubs...those people are usually 40+ year old women.  I don't remember the last time I read a book, but I listen to CD's from start to finish on a daily basis.  I'm not trying to get you to join a book club, or a CD club for that matter.  There's just a lot of CD's out there that I believe people need to listen to.  So I've created this listening page, where I will recommend a CD every week that people should listen to.  Some weeks I will recommend a series of CD's to listen to that will follow a general theme.  Check here frequently to see what is the recommended weekly listen, and be sure to give the CD a piece of your mind on the Rate It page.

If you have a recommended listen, or a series you would like people to hear, submit it on the
Request page.  This is highly recommended as there's a lot of music I'm not aware of.

Dead & Bloated
Over the years I've seen too many bands with seemingly infinite potential disappear off the face of the music industry without a trace of reason. Check out a few of these bands that I feel were tragically overlooked and are now dead & bloated. Give this list a rating and piece of you mind below after you finish listening.
Doubledrive: "Blue in the Face"
This CD actually had a single released to the radio in "Imprint."  But the band seemed to fizzle quickly after the release of Blue in the Face, because of its "similarity" to the popular band Creed. From start to finish this album has songs that you wont be able to get out of your head for months. RIP Doubledrive.

East West: "Light in Guinevere's Garden"
One listen to this CD will probably leave you confused. Asking yourself "Is this a hardcore, metal, or U2 CD?"  The diversity in this album is what gives it its amazing replay value. With influences in death metal, hardcore, and U2 theres a song for everyone in "Light in Guinevere's Garden."  RIP East West.

Lucerin Blue: "Tales of the Knife"
Lucerin Blue's sound on "Tales of the Knife" can be explained in one word: BIG.  Listening to this CD will make it apparent that this band died a way too early death.  Their BIG sound will blow you away from your speakers, and leave you wanting more, but unfortunately this band is Dead & Bloated. RIP LB
