| I didn't come
from a hunting family, but my husband got me
hooked on it. I started out shooting skeet, but got tired of being left at home during seasons, although I went along. I
now love it and I hunt waterfowl, upland and
turkey. I also shoot a compound and a recurve... talk about fun! I hope to someday take a turkey with my compound. Well, the times are changing and I took the plunge! I'm adding deer to my list of game to hunt this year. I was very fortunate to win a bowhunt in Pennsylvania through Kishel's Animal Scents and Lures and Allegheney Wilderness Outfitters. The hunt was Oct. 11 - Oct. 15. Although we didn't bag a deer, a good time was had by all. |
