Johnny Canoe -For Nicole's Birthday we came here. Nicole had amazing Mahi Mahi and we split a spinach dip that was really wicked. I took my half of a chicken home. A bit of a tourist place serving awesome Bahamian food. Oh ya, kick ass mac and cheese....Really good, 15% gratuity included. |

Senior Frog's
If you want some Mexican in the Bahamas this place is ok. I went to Senior Frog's in Mexico and it was way better. The prices were high but you did get lots of food. Nicole's eating the Nacho's, we also ate taco's. I did however, enjoy my Mexican sol. 15% Grat. included. |

Nadia's
While out shopping on Bay st. we went down an ally one block west of Q.E st. We ate the Roti and Mac and Chese on the side (most bahamas dishes come with mac and chese as an option which is awesome. I topped it all off with a Kalik beer, all for $11. |

Fish Fry.It is an area where local fisherman sell fish and fry them up for locals. The best prices on the Island. |

Da Junkanoo Shak
The cheapest Conch Fritters we have been able to find so far. $3 will fill you for hours. Located near the Straw market just up from senior frog's. Slow service and lots of drunkin locals to chat with. |

Rob and Nicole at the Fish Fry. I had at least a dozen Conch Fritters! Awesome. Nicole had the Bahamian Special of chicken and rice, It was 8 bucks and we ate it for 3 days. So Far we have been to Twin Brothers and Andros Hideout, both excellent. At Andros Hideout we got fritters for $1. I also met a guy (Dion) who hooked me up with some fresh lobster, snapper, grouper and Jumbo shrimp for a sweet price to take home. |

Blue Oyster
Located at SandyPort we often hit this place after the beach. The Conch Fritters were a meal all on their own for 6 bucks. The cracked Conch was huge and tasty. One thing to watch for is a lot of resturants have tips of 15% included. It shows at this place as the service is lacking.

| We went to Indigo and ordered from the raw bar. I had a sushi platter, it was fine dining. With fine dining comes a fine price... good to try but expensive. |

JERK PIT at Cricket Club- It was a good place to hang while watching cricket or after my wednesday night soccer game. Very doughey fritters and 10% gratituty. |

| Green Parrot (Hurricane Hole) When I got my Oakley's we were over by Paradise Island so we thought we would meet up with some other friends from our staff. P.I. is a rich island where all the people hiding cash from other countries come to hang out. It was a nice location near a marina and harbour but badly over priced, I'd do it once but not again. Home Cookin! Just to prove we don't eat out every night of the week, I bought some fresh snapper down at the fish fry and cooked it up for Nicole and I. As you can see from the first pic, it was scary initially, but it turned out pretty good. I cut the head off for Nicole. I also cook a lot of roasts, Lobster and Grouper which are all quite reasonably prices if you know where to buy it. (BELOW) |
