"Simple Bible Search" lets you search the "King James" translation of 1611 for specific words and phrases. It's not as flash as other software that's available - in some ways it's like an electronic concordance - but it's better than nothing if you don't want too many bells and whistles. Yes, I know there is other software out there with similar titles. This is not any of them, but is an original "no frills" tool to delete cookies and other temporary files that sometimes get left behind when you've been surfing the internet or doing your work.

Back in the 1980s the magazine "Creative Computing" described a program they called "Grow" that could be used either as a teaching aid or as a text-based adventure game. This is an implementation designed for MS-DOS. It is also usable in a DOS box under Windows 98SE - if you find it works on other platforms, please let us know! More information....
