This movie couldn't be more pink, girlie, cutsy and close to a disaster if it weren't for Reese Witherspoon as the very blonde lead character in this somewhat unneeded sequel, although it still aims to please those who were pleased with the first one.

Elle Woods heads out to Washington after learning of the inhumane way her dog's mother is being treated in a cosmetics lab. There, she meets many people destined to run her out of town with her unorthodox and misunderstood ways. However, when she finally gets a chance to speak her pretty little mind, she's suddenly god's gift from the heavens and all that animosity magically disappeared.

If you think the above is at all possible in any kind of miracle, you'll love this movie, else you'll realize this is a pretty dumb movie, masked by a successful precessor and wonderful actress. You'd think Witherspoon would be smart enough to keep starring in these movies that would be complete junk if someone else played her role, shouldn't she be looking for something a little more sophisticated?

Anyways, I'll admit it is funny, quite a bit at times. And since my gf is near, no I do not think Reese Witherspoon is hot (wink wink). But the script is nothing short of slapped together. See it at your own risk.

In short:
Comedy: Yeah, it's funny
Violence/language: You kidding? Even if there was, the blood would have to be pink for it to work
Nudity/sex: None
High Points: Witherspoon superbe, lighthearted comedy
Low Points: Script itself pretty bad, bad supporting actors

Rating: C+
