I grew up in Edmundston, New Brunswick with my parents and two sisters, Tracy and Sandy. I attended "La Cité des Jeunes, A.M Sormany" High School and graduated in 1997. I then attended the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton to do a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Statistics. I received my degree in 2002.

I enjoyed myself as a child with minor league baseball and hockey, weekends at the cabin, playing drums and guitar, going to clubs while greatly underaged and amassing a large collection of sports cards.
