I am a little late on updating my site (a whole month), so I will try to keep short. This movie...is perhaps the best movie I've seen all year. Of course, the only way you will like this movie as much as me is if your a big Tarantino fan. Oddly, I have only seen Pulp Fiction among his movies, but that's enough to make me a fan, right?

We needed an ambitious, stylized mesmarizing flick like this, admit it, we've had a lot of flops this year. This is more than just a kung-fu movie with a hero dressed in yellow. It's a moviebuff must-see. It's a great piece of work in many ways. It's funny, It's violent, It's original, but it's also a parody of many styles and it's even dramatic. What's there not to love?

Well, it's original only if you've never seen Pulp Fiction. There is a lot of little bits of Tarantino trademark, which makes it an unoriginal Tarantino film, if you look at it that way. Also many of the scenes are detailed oriented, which translates to long. Not that they are boring, but they balance action and dialogue pretty well, just long scenes.

Anyways, It's a movie that sticks in your head, and a movie that has a Part 2 already advertized. Can't wait to see it!!

In short:
Comedy: Lots of odd situations and ironic comments
Violence/language: Oh Yeah
Nudity/sex: None
High Points: Very stylized, great directing, great acting
Low Points: Slow paced story line, very "Pulp Fiction-like"

Rating: A-
