Lots of kids dream of being astronauts, professional athletes, cops, or even being like their dads when they're young. But what do they dream of being once they're old? They want to be James Bond. And that is why 40 years after the first film, people still love agent 007 and his gadgets, cars, and his mojo.

Die Another Day, doesn`t really show anything new, just more up to date, but still leaving in some of the old cheese that makes the series so unique. Pierce Brosnan has what it takes to be the sly agent. As always, he is coupled with an intriguing beauty to assist or destroy him. That would be Halle Berry, who plays Jinx, a slick double agent working on his side. The two share an innuendo filled conversation in their swimwear before ending up in bed and...sort of predictable. But that is what people want to see, that and the dazzling pyros and gadgets! Just when you think this series would be behind the times, new directors and producers help show the new breed of action flicks and how it`s done. (Vin, I hope your were taking notes)

Unfortunately, Bond flicks tend to be long, and this one is the case. For something so fast paced and energetic, keep it short and to the point! Maybe cut out one of the dozen or so situations 007 gets himself out of, there are so many I honestly don`t remember half of them. Among all the great special effects, there were a few computer enhanced scenes that looked like the producer gave his young nephew from out of state who wants to become a graphics designer when he comes out of Class 2008 a once in a lifetime birthday present...These shots are so fake looking they made Deep Blue Sea`s sharks look real.

Anyways, don`t be expecting no deep meaningful story of love and hate kind of crap, need some testosterone? Look no further, lots of fun!!

In short:
Comedy: Some wit a la James Bond, otherwise none
Violence/Language: Lots and lots of violence, no foul language though.
Nudity/Sex: Love making scenes, Halle Berry cleavage, no nudity
High Points: Good shot of Testosterone, Pierce Brosnan great
Low Points:A few fake looking shots, a little too cheesy at times, unnecessarily long

Rating: B-
