I tell you, I don`t think any documentary was ever done at a better time that Bowling For Colombine. It is a documentary about violence in the United States from a truly neutral and truthful point of view. If anything, it is a rude awakening to those who believe the citizens of the U.S are innocent victims of the villains all over the world who would never themselves harbour any weapons of mass destruction...

Micheal Moore covers the major violent attacks in the U.S. over the past few years in detail, interviweing stars like Marilyn Manson, Charleton Heston and Dick Clark as well as many victims of well known crimes with such poignant questions and smart sarcastic remarks. The documentary is also filled with stunning figures, fun cartoons and at times disgusting footage. But my favorite part is the comparison of the U.S. and my home, Canada. Finally someone who realizes what a great place Canada is! I truly think after seeing this that there is no better place to live in the world than in Canada. And who the hell does this Charleton Heston guy think he is? Do us a favor, find a rock big enough to hide you, your guns and that stick up your ass and stay there, you sorry excuse for a star, your just an ugly redneck with money you don`t deserve.

Well, I gotta say some of the stuff is a less than interesting at times, and I trust the guy, but the idea of exaggerating the situation can`t be completely thrown out. But everybody who believes in bombing the crap out of Iraq has to see this film. I am going to recommend this to all, and I am bringing my Sweetie to see it again later this week. It is still a documentary, but I swear 25, 40 years down the road when people point out what stuck out of the 2002-2003 era, Bowling For Colombine will be on that list

In short:
Comedy: Plenty of comical and sarcastic remarks
Violence/language: Features actual footage of people being shot, including inside Colombine High, discretion advised!
Nudity/sex: None
High Points: Rude awakening, Micheal Moore, exactly what Bush needs to see right now
Low Points: Some footage could have been deleted, somewhat stereotyping nations

Rating: B
