Austin`s back, baby! The international man of mystery himself returns along with his old gang Dr. Evil, Fat Bastard and Mini Me to the third movie in the series, Goldmember. Goldmember is a villian from the 70`s who`s built a device to attract meteors to collide with Earth and destroy the planet. He is discovered by Dr. Evil, but is arrested and sentenced to 400 years for being evil, but escapes, and it is up to Austin and his new fling he brought from the 70`s, Foxxy Cleopatra to stop Dr. evil and Goldmember in their evil plan!

First off, I am a huge fan of the first two movies, Mike Myers has come up with the hands down most comical fictional characters ever. So my expectations were way high for this one. I thought the second one was actually better than the first one, so I figured this one might be better than both. Unfortunately, I think this one wasn`t as funny as the other two. However, it`s far from being a Freddie Prince Jr. movie.

Though some jokes were recycled from the first one, new twists and Mike Myers` unique humor still makes you want to pee yourself every minute. Also, don`t be looking for a plot, because there really isn`t one, which is exactly the point. Among the biggest laughs, check out some cool cameos in the intro and a mole...literally. Also check out Beyonce Knowles as Foxxy Cleopatra. Even though she`s basically playing herself, she ain`t too bad.

Unfortunately, Goldmember himself isn`t really funny, actually he is a product of a leprechaun and Richard Simmons, a sometimes irritating combo. And Brittany, if youre reading this, at least make an effort at proving you were actually singing in the studio and stop desperately looking for new exposure just cause your new album sucks. Let alone the fact I don`t listen to pop, You`re just irritating people in general.

All this being said, any of the three movies gets funnier each time you watch it. I`m looking forward to getting the DVD (or even seing again next weekend). No matter how not funny it might seem from the commercials, any Austin Powers movie is a "You have to be there, and you have to know the insides of it" type movie. Go see it!!

In short:
Comedy: Plenty...It`s Austin Powers, what do you expect?
Violence: A few non-bloody fight scenes.
Nudity: Lots of cleavage courtesy of Beyonce, otherwise none.
High Points: Cleverness plot, Camoes/Intro, Did I mention it`s Hilarious?
Low Points: New Character not very funny, Some jokes recycled, Brittany Spears

Rating: A-
