This vicious activity was met with general disproval amoung the fish-owner community, and it was decided that action had to be taken. For the next few days, every time Ralph was seen 'bullying' he was discouraged from attacking by a wooden spoon that would following him unitl he swam away.
Ralphs insubordination was soon curbed by the 'wooden spoon method' and bar the odd nip at Bert bubbles, he settled down becoming a happy member of the glass sphere. Nick (father of (deceased) Jeff), noticed that Ralph was integrating well and was seen with Alan, prehaps becoming a little more than friends when spotted swimming and following each other around the bowl in some sort of courting method. However nothing came of this, we can only assume they had were heading in different ways in life and how true this came to be.
