Jeff fianlly passed away on the early hours of the 17th May 2004. It was not without a sense of irony that Jeff died while the film 'Independance Day' was on. While mankind was winning its battle against invaders, Jeff was losing his battle against his invaders - White Spot. It was apt that Jeff was found by his caring father floating on his side, being pushed around the tank by the filter.

Jeff will sorley be missed within the fish community as he passes on to the big bowl in the sky, and the image of Jeff lying in the toilet pending flush will live on for many years to come - here's to Jeff....
