Bert died at 18:00 on 24/05/04. He preferred to rest at the bottom of the bowl rather than the customary float to the top marking out his uniqueness. It all started looking bad for Berty early morning when his already paritally deflated left bubble seemed even worse, and his right bubble was also a little smaller, almost like the life was drainning from him.

Bert was found on his side by his loving mother, who was obviously distraught at seeing her little boy so limp. Bert will be sorely missed from the bowl by the fish and the fish carers alike as he wobbles his way up to fishy heavan. One things for sure, the fish bowl wont be the same without him.....
